Hey people,
After a few hours of staring at the documentation, I have finally managed to type out the second song, “Free”, in Latex using the package. The migration process might be slow (there are many songs), but we believe that God will grant us the strength to finish this compilation. Typeface is not very nice, but content is much more manageable now as the songs are compartmentalized into individual files.

I have just picked up Latex, which is usually used for writing science papers, books, compiling math / chemistry / etc. notes. I’ve been wondering whether the songs listed on this site can be compiled via Latex.
A quick search seems promising. There are currently a few packages online such as LaTeX Songbook style (http://rath.ca/Misc/Songbook/) and GCHORDS (http://kasper.phi-sci.com/gchords/) that seems to fit the bill.
Having the songbook in LaTeX can be quite beneficial:
I think that’s enough plus points! But that means I would have to study how it’s going to be implemented long-term / manually update every song because the formatting is so different. That would take some time.

Today I was listening to Brian Houston’s podcast on “The Power of Appreciation”. It’s a really important message, encourage you to listen it if you can! He was talking about the importance of thanksgiving – being thankful to God for everything He has provided for. And yes, we really do have much to give thanks for!
